Hardwood floor refinishing and installation
Hardwood refinished with dustless sanding, or new hardwood, vinyl plank, and carpet installed.
Refinishing a living and dining room, about 400 sq ft, is $1,600. We sand, stain if you want it, and apply three coats of finish. Our sanders connect to a vacuum, so the dust stays out of the rest of the house.
Installing prefinished hardwood in a 400 sq ft living and dining room is $1,950. The flooring is extra: bring your own, or we supply it at cost plus 15% and list it on your estimate. Unfinished wood is sanded and finished after it goes down, at our refinishing rate.
Luxury vinyl plank in a 400 sq ft basement is $1,300 to install, with the flooring extra the same way. It’s waterproof, which makes it a good choice for basements and kitchens.
New carpet in three bedrooms, about 400 sq ft, is $600 to install. We stretch it in over new pad, and the carpet and pad are extra the same way. Taking up the old carpet and carpeting stairs are priced on your estimate.
Plan for cure time
You can walk on new finish in a day. Furniture goes back in after three to five days, and rugs after two weeks.
We put those dates on your schedule up front. If your move-in date doesn’t leave room for them, we’ll tell you before you book.
Easiest before you move in
Floors go fastest in an empty house. If you just bought, the days between closing and move-in are the best time to do them.
